Group leader.
He is fascinated by genetics, evolution, & computer science. He is trying to pinpoint causative variants of agronomic traits in wheat using interdisciplinary approaches.

Chang-Bin Yin

Research associate.
He has a background in quantitative genetics. He manages the field trials and is particularly interested in hybrid wheat breeding.

Jing Wang

Research associate.
She has a background in molecular biology. She is developing high throughput genotyping, RNA-seq, and regulatory elements screening approaches.

Meng Jin

Engineer.
She is mainly responsible for the financial, administrative, and student management work of the research group, as well as some molecular biology experiments.

She loves coding as well. She is developing RNA-seq analysis pipelines and investigating the genetic architecture of gene expression in wheat.

She is interested in evolution biology. She was investigated how hybridization, migration, and breeding shaped the unique evolutionary path of bread wheat. She graduated in 2022.
